Myers SX Explosion Proof Sump Pump

This heavy-duty cast iron submersible sump pump is engineered for commercial and industrial dewatering applications in hazardous environments. This pump isre designed to reduce the risk of vapor igniting the pump in hazardous environments classified as Class 1, Division 1, Group D.

• Cable entry system provides double seal protection. Cable jacket sealed by compression grommet
• Upper and lower ball bearings support shaft and rotor and reduce axial and radial loads
• Heat sensor protects motor from burnout due to excessive heat from any overload condition. Automatically resets when motor has cooled
• Heavy corrosion resistant 416 stainless steel shaft reduces shaft deflection due to grinding loads
• Press fit statir for perfect alignment and best heat transfer. Oil filled motor conducts heat and lubricates bearings
• Double tandem mechanical shaft seal protects motor Oil-filled seal chamber provides continuous lubrication
• Seal leak probe provides advance notification of seal leak allowing preventative maintenance before motor damage
• Ductile iron recessed impeller handles ground slurry without clogging or binding. Provides unobstructed flow passage
