The Taco 005-F2-2IFC is a cartridge style, maintenance free, circulator pump with an Integral Flow Check (IFC). It is designed to reduce installation costs when zoning with "00" circulators on hydronic or radiant heating, hydro-air fan coils or indirect water heaters. By locating the IFC inside the pump casing, a separate in-line flow check is eliminated, reducing installation costs. The reduced pressure drop of the IFC increases the 005-F2-2IFC flow performance up to 240% over in-line check valves. The IFC and cartridge are easily accessed for service instead of replacing the entire unit.
